Maintence and modernization – hydropower seminar

THURSDAY, 25TH APRIL 2019, 9:30 AM – 17:00 PM

200.00 EUR – Regular
100.00 EUR – Sponsors and National participants
 50.00 EUR – Students

Target groups: Hydropower plant operators, manufacturers, project developer, component suppliers, designers
Content and aim of the event:

The attendees should learn from experts of leading universities and manufacturer companies about their newest developments and innovative technical approaches for risk reduction, operating and maintaining of hydropower plants. This may help operators in decision making and in finding O&M strategy solutions in their company.

Innovative approaches to the design, operations and maintenance (O&M) of hydropower facilities are needed to ensure optimal performance. Poor operations and maintenance, through a lack of investment, inadequate training or outdated approaches, can cause high outage rates, performance losses and increased operating costs. This can lead to lost energy production, reduced revenues and in some cases result in safety and environmental concerns.

The expert workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of maintaining hydropower assets and aims at transferring knowledge in order to benefit from innovative and newly developed approaches.
