Is Production for Stand-Alone Energy and Clean Water Possible?

A company in Belgium, Blue Power Synergy, has been working on developing a stand-alone renewable energy system that will produce both electricity and clean water. To promote climate change, there is a demand for technologies that have no pollution. This is where renewable energy comes in handy since it is non-polluting and it can deliver energy and purified water.

Fossils resources are mostly used in remote locations as an energy source. However, a challenge with this type of energy production is that it is expensive and can impact the environment. For this reason, Blue Power Synergy began its research and development in 2016 to manufacture a stand-alone system that will meet the electricity and clean water needs.

During their research, the founders established that different suppliers on the market offered the same individual solutions. There was no total solution since synergistic products were not available in the market.

This inspired the company to become a one-stop shop that provided innovative composite modules and packages that could be customized based on the client’s needs and local conditions. Blue Power Synergy also began commercialization in 2020.

The Synergistic Team

The Blue Power Synergy core team comprises three industrial engineers.

  • A chemist and a previous project manager with 40 years of experience in the development of large powerplants.
  • An engineer who has over 10 years of experience in the field of applied bio-sciences for agricultural and food processing. The engineer also has experience with a clean water system that is designed for agricultural, human, and industry suppliers.
  • A naval architect or shipbuilding engineer and a material specialist in the maritime and renewable industry for over 10 years.

The Flagship Product

The company’s flagship product, Enreau, consists of several renewable energy sources, energy storage, and clean water production. It has an HC energy production container (40 feet), a high technical container (40 feet), solar panels (96 meter square), and 6 vertical wind turbines.

The station has a power capacity of 36 Kwh and a battery capacity of between 48-250 Kwh for 24/7 operations. The company has proposed innovative systems to fit the energy needs of the client.

Other than being used for human and agricultural supply at 30,000 liters and 150,000 liters per day respectively, the station can also be set up in a lake, river, bay, or harbor as a floating asset. Hence, the systems can be used by remote communities, hotels, industrial companies, business people, and humanitarian programs.
